And some of us are just plain NUTS! After attending a day-long seminar on OSHA compliance details, I noticed others in the seminar were from larger corporations and OSHA was their full-time jobs, I sat there as a small business owner listening to the requirements we have to fulfill and wondered how it would be possible to do all of that along with HR, Office management, payroll/accounting and inventory management. Sometimes, the only way to describe why we do what we do is that we are insane and don’t know better.

Amen, 28 years in business, I bet there were more days that I went home wondering why would a person torture himself like this. But a good night sleep and I’m up and ready to go again and try. Just enjoy the challenge, and enjoy being a service to people, even when they don’t pay their bills, are unreasonable, and still complain about everything you did. Pay sucks, but boy what a ride!

Amen! I have been in business on my own for 1 year and there is no looking back. Glenn hit it out of the park with this weekly article. I love it!

I ran a small organic food company in Ireland before coming to the United States. I drank, ate, slept and dreamt the business 24/7 much to the annoyance of my family? It was the best seven years of my life so far!
